This is one of the earliest known pictures of the police department. While the department was created in 1903, we have not been able to find any photos of this time period.

The photo at left was taken in 1974 at City Hall. In the Center of the photograph is current police Chief Larry Anderson.

K-9 "Cole" (an Australian Shephard/Border Colie mix) was the first canine officer for our city. He was trained with Sgt. Linsenmann at McNeil Island, WA in 2003. K-9 Officer "Cole" was retired in 2006 and lives the good life in retirement at his former handler's home.

A fine summer morning. This is great photo of a sunrise over Veteran's park. This park is located on the south end of our town and has an Army tank for the kids to look at.
